The Tool.4gproxy virus record is used to detect a specialized 4gproxy utility that allows Android devices to be used as proxy servers. This tool is written in the Go language and in itself is not malicious. However, threat actors can utilize it for malicious purposes; for example, they can embed it into third-party apps and use target devices as proxies without users’ consent. The Dr.Web anti-virus detects such apps as Android.Proxy.4gproxy.
