Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'image.exe' = '%PROGRAM_FILES%'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
Creates and executes the following:
- %TEMP%\image.exe
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\rundll32.exe <SYSTEM32>\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %TEMP%\SocialSecurityImage.gif
Terminates or attempts to terminate
the following user processes:
- outpost.exe
- AVP.EXE
- bdagent.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %PROGRAM_FILES%image.exe
- %TEMP%\SocialSecurityImage.gif
- %TEMP%\image.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf

Searches for the following windows:

- ClassName: 'ShImgVw:CPreviewWnd' WindowName: ''
