- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'MSN' = '%WINDIR%\iexplorer.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\RECYCLER\S-1-6-21-2434476501-1644491937-600003330-1213\autorunme.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\RECYCLER\S-1-6-21-2434476501-1644491937-600003330-1213\Desktop.ini
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%WINDIR%\iexplorer.exe'
Searches for windows to
detect analytical utilities:
- ClassName: 'PROCMON_WINDOW_CLASS' WindowName: '(null)'
- ClassName: 'RegMonClass' WindowName: '(null)'
- ClassName: 'FileMonClass' WindowName: '(null)'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %WINDIR%\iexplorer.exe
- %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\TEMP:A7E78C07
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\RECYCLER\S-1-6-21-2434476501-1644491937-600003330-1213\autorunme.exe
- %WINDIR%\iexplorer.exe
