Creates or modifies the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\PDF Reader Launcher.exe
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Alcohol Soft.lnk
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Recycled.lnk
- <Drive name for removable media>:\PDF_Reader FULL.exe.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\RECYCLED\TasksSvc.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\Rar$EX7.sr77\COM7.EXE'
- '%TEMP%\Rar$EX7.sr77\ashcv.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\reg.exe' ADD HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run /f /t REG_SZ /v COM_LOADER /d "\\.\%PROGRAM_FILES%\PDF_Reader\bin\COM7.EXE"
- '<SYSTEM32>\cmd.exe' /c ""%TEMP%\.bat" "
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\Rar$EX7.sr77\pipe.Ex77.tmp
- %PROGRAM_FILES%\PDF_Reader\bin\COM7.EXE
- %PROGRAM_FILES%\PDF_Reader\PDF_Reader.exe
- %TEMP%\Rar$EX7.sr77\ashcv.exe
- %TEMP%\Rar$EX7.sr77\COM7.EXE
- %TEMP%\.bat
Deletes the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\rsaci.rat
- <SYSTEM32>\cmos.ram
