To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'system' = '<SYSTEM32>\system.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\system.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\AutoRun.vbs
- <Drive name for removable media>:\AutoRun.inf
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\rundll32.exe <SYSTEM32>\edche.dll Execute
- <SYSTEM32>\rundll32.exe <SYSTEM32>\eieia.dll Execute
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\AutoRun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\edche.dll
- C:\system.exe
- C:\AutoRun.vbs
- <SYSTEM32>\1l1.dll
- <SYSTEM32>\eieia.dll
- <SYSTEM32>\Hook.sys
- C:\Driver.sys
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\system.exe
- C:\system.exe
Deletes the following files:
- C:\Driver.sys
- <SYSTEM32>\Hook.sys
- <SYSTEM32>\1l1.dll
Moves itself:
- from <Full path to virus> to <SYSTEM32>\system.exe
