Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Microsoft UneXpected' = '%TEMP%\svchost.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Microsoft UneXpected' = '%TEMP%\svchost.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\CRNJEUFU\CRNJEUFU\CRNJEUFUfirefox.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\CRNJEUFU\CRNJEUFU\Desktop.ini
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- %TEMP%\svchost.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\svchost.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\CRNJEUFU\CRNJEUFU\CRNJEUFUfirefox.exe
- %TEMP%\svchost.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'localhost':6667
- 'ja#.#exsh.info':6667
UDP:
- DNS ASK ja#.#exsh.info
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
