Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce] 'SIS-Utility' = '<SYSTEM32>\twainUI.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Usblog.ini
- <Drive name for removable media>:\winaudit.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\twainUI.exe
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe +h +s +r +a E:\Autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe +h +s +r +a <SYSTEM32>\twainUI.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe -h -s -r -a E:\
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe +h +s +r +a E:\winaudit.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <Current directory>\Runsis.dll
- <SYSTEM32>\Runsis.dll
- <SYSTEM32>\twainUI.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\twainUI.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\winaudit.exe
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\~DF5CD.tmp
- %TEMP%\~DFD06E.tmp
