To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'explorer' = '%WINDIR%\BackUp\explorer.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\explorer.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %PROGRAM_FILES%\explorer.exe
- C:\explorer.exe
- %WINDIR%\BackUp\explorer.exe
- %WINDIR%\BackUp\autorun.inf
- C:\RECYCLER\explorer.exe
- %PROGRAM_FILES%\{17350501621331}.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\explorer.exe
- %WINDIR%\BackUp\explorer.exe
- %WINDIR%\BackUp\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Deletes the following files:
- %PROGRAM_FILES%\explorer.exe
- C:\explorer.exe
- %WINDIR%\BackUp\explorer.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- C:\RECYCLER\explorer.exe
- %PROGRAM_FILES%\{17350501621331}.exe
