Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Win Update2' = '%WINDIR%\winupdate2.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\desktop.ini
- <Drive name for removable media>:\RECYCLER\S-1-6-21-2434476501-600002330-725334452-1201\autorun.exe
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\regsvr32.exe /s "<SYSTEM32>\mswinsck.ocx"
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\mswinsck.ocx
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\RECYCLER\S-1-6-21-2434476501-600002330-725334452-1201\autorun.exe
Modifies the HOSTS file.
