Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'inet32' = '%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\inetinfo.exe'
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
- file extensions
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\cmd.exe' /c ""C:\copy.bat" "
- '<SYSTEM32>\wscript.exe' cp.vbs
- '<SYSTEM32>\xcopy.exe' <SYSTEM32>\xcopy.exe %TEMP%\ /y
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\cp.vbs
- C:\copy.bat
- %TEMP%\xcopy.exe
- %TEMP%\temp.vih
Deletes the following files:
- C:\copy.bat
- C:\cp.vbs
- %TEMP%\xcopy.exe
- %TEMP%\temp.vih
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: '(null)'
